| What a weird weekend. friday night was a blast. Saturday not so much. Some not so great things happened in my house. and memorials are always hard to go to. But the reality really hit me square in the face... you need to be ready, all the time, for anything. but on a lighter note, i got to see some old gradutates. wow, i can't believe how fast time seems to fly these days. it seemed like it was only last week they graduted and now seeing this years seniors graduate is so weird. that and knowing we only have one more year until it's the class of 07.... kinda weird to think about because so often i have this mind set of "oh my gosh, i can't wait to be outta the XCHS's halls" when really, i need to be more concerned of if i'm making the most of my time... like the song way back when michael w smith was popular with the song, this is your time....in the future, i don't want to be one of those graduates people look back on, saying, gee, do i even know her? did she even care? i don't want them to see me, i want them to see Christ's love through me.... just something worth thinking about | | |

| With the rain outside my window makes me think of how sometimes life rains.... sometimes light drizzles of simple things, and other times it pours with the hard stuff. Right now, my life's just drizzling... not too much... holding my breathe and hoping JS all works out... praying that my grandpa will be ok, can't really imagine what holidays and playing cards will be like without him....remembering back in elemetary and JH the picture i had of myself in high school, and seeing how unrealistic that picture really was >since so much has changed, (thankfully for the better) i'm sure all of you who remember me back then can agree<... but even through all those little things that can so easily distract me, i got the sunshine. and i'm reminded daily how grateful i am for just awesome people in my life, and the fact that it was 'all for love' that Jesus died.... >i love that song!< what a simple detail we hear growing up, but way too easily forget it... | | |
